I’m Robert Zimmerman, a construction technology executive and advisor to mid-sized contractors who want practical, measurable returns from AI and digital investment—without disrupting the jobsite or wasting capital.

I have spent more than 30 years in construction, starting as a journeyman carpenter and progressing into executive and advisory roles focused on technology, data, and operations.

That background matters.

It means every recommendation I make is grounded in:

I don’t approach construction like manufacturing, and I don’t assume clean data, perfect workflows, or unlimited capacity for change.

The score evaluates readiness across:

The goal is not to sell AI.
